Wooden bird-shaped brooches, coloured and screen-printed by hand in my home studio.

Each brooch measures 8 × 6cm (approx.)

'Three Wise Women'

A handmade, screen printed Christmas decoration by Cath Hodson.

What would have happened if the Three Wise Men in the Nativity story were women? This is a fun decoration which would look good on any mantelpiece to celebrate the wise women in your life.

The design has been hand-cut from paper to make stencils to print from. Each decoration is screen-printed on 270gsm acid-free, bright white printmaking paper and comes in 4 colour ways.

Each piece comes in a biodegradable plastic sleeve, pre-cut with score lines to fold.

Dimensions: 33cm x 29cm approx.

2026 Calendar

An original, screen printed calendar by Cath Hodson.

This calendar is printed on 270gsm acid-free, bright white printmaking paper.

It has a two-colour print - ‘Birdsong’ - which depicts two birds in a garden and a yearly calendar printed underneath.

The design has been hand-cut from paper to make stencils to print from.

The calendar comes wrapped in acid-free tissue in a tube with a bamboo magnetic poster holder and instructions on how to attach.

Dimensions: 56 cm x 38 cm aprox

'Dippers'

An original, hand-pulled screen print by Cath Hodson.

This print is inspired by the, some say brave, some foolhardy, dippers I see every day of the year when walking my dog on my local beach.

I was trying to evoke the feel of mid-century holiday/travel posters with the simplicity of style and colour.

The design has been hand-cut from paper to make stencils to print from, and is printed on Somerset satin white 300gsm printmaking paper.

Mount included.

I love birds and can spend hours watching them from my kitchen window.

I laser cut this brooch from birch ply (from a sustainable source) and then screen printed the colour.

It comes in four colours and is presented on a white card.

Screen-printed Mimosa Brooches

Mimosa is the flower of International ‘Women’s Day’ representing strength, resilience and sensitivity.

This brooch was designed for International Women’s Day to celebrate the amazing women in my life.

I laser cut this brooch from birch ply (from a sustainable source) and then screen-printed the colour.

The Mimosa brooch comes in four colours and is presented on a white card.

Dimensions: Each brooch measures 15 x 8 cm approx. at widest points.

Flower Brooches

Unique, flower-shaped brooches.

These broaches are taken from shapes in my artworks which I laser cut.

They are made from off cuts (reclaimed) cast acrylic or recycled polyester.

Each brooch measures 11 × 9cm (approx.)

'No. 19 Patchwork'

An original, hand-pulled screen print by Cath Hodson.

This print was made in celebration of 1900 years of Hadrians wall. It was part of ‘ Hadrian’s Wall 1900’ exhibition at Northern Print.

'Sue's Seeds - Poppies'

An original, limited edition, hand-pulled screen print by Cath Hodson.

When my mum (Sue) died, we sent out a pack of wild flower seeds to all her friends and family to plant, scatter in their gardens, places they visited or reminded them of her. People started sending me photos of their seeds grown and blooming and I’m in the progress of making a print for each of those photos to create a collection entitled ‘Sue’s Seeds’.

‘Sue’s seeds – Poppies’ is printed on Somerset White Satin 300gsm printmaking paper. Each print comes mounted.

'Blue Vase with Flowers'
